Chakin-shibori (n.) Referring to the similarity between wringing out a wet chakin (tea ceremony cloth) and the proper grip of a sword at the moment a strike or thrust has landed. (At the moment of impact the little and ring fingers should tighten around the hilt as the thumbs rotate slight and thrust forward.)[1]
